CWC LEGACY HONORS

Honoring a Lifetime of Impact. Celebrating a Legacy of Excellence.

The Christian Women Coalition proudly presents the CWC Legacy Honors, a distinguished annual recognition celebrating individuals age 55 and over whose lives reflect extraordinary leadership, service, faith, and community impact.

This is not simply a recognition of longevity — it is a recognition of legacy.

The CWC Legacy Honors uplift men and women whose work has strengthened institutions, transformed lives, and shaped generations. These honorees represent the builders, trailblazers, caregivers, mentors, advocates, entrepreneurs, educators, and servants whose impact deserves to be seen, named, and celebrated.

Our Purpose

The CWC Legacy Honors were created to:

Preserve and elevate stories of excellence within our communities
Celebrate leadership that reflects integrity, faith, service, and compassion
Publicly honor those whose contributions may not always receive recognition
Inspire future generations through the example of lives well-lived

Eligibility

Nominees must:

Be 55 years of age or older
Demonstrate sustained leadership, service, or impact in their field or community
Reflect the values of integrity, service, faith, and commitment to others

Nominees may come from any sector, including but not limited to education, ministry, healthcare, public service, business, nonprofit leadership, arts and culture, advocacy, and community development.

Award Categories

Each year, the CWC Legacy Honors recognize 15 distinguished individuals:

Lifetime Achievement Award

The highest honor, recognizing an individual whose life’s work reflects extraordinary leadership, influence, and transformational impact.

Category Honors

The Trailblazer Award — For a pioneer who broke barriers and opened doors for others
The Community Leadership Award — For sustained leadership that strengthened communities
The Public Service & Civic Impact Award — For excellence in public service or advocacy
The Faith in Action Award — For impactful ministry or faith-based service
The Education & Mentorship Award — For shaping lives through teaching and guidance
The Youth & Family Advocacy Award — For championing children and families
The Business & Economic Empowerment Award — For creating opportunity and economic growth
The Innovation & Visionary Award — For advancing new ideas, systems, or solutions
The Health & Wellness Impact Award — For improving physical, mental, or community health
The Humanitarian Service Award — For compassion-driven service and care
The Arts, Culture & Preservation Award — For advancing cultural expression and heritage
The Media, Communication & Influence Award — For shaping narratives and public awareness
The Unsung Hero Award — For extraordinary impact behind the scenes
The Legacy Builder Award — For building institutions or systems that will endure

Nomination Process

We invite the community to submit nominations for individuals whose lives reflect excellence, faith, and meaningful impact.

To submit a nomination, please provide:

Nominee’s Name and Age
Field(s) of Impact or Service
Description of the Nominee’s Legacy and Contributions
Your Name and Contact Information

All nominations are reviewed by the CWC Legacy Honors Selection Committee.

Selection Process

Honorees are selected through a thoughtful review process based on:

Demonstrated impact and sustained contribution
Leadership, integrity, and service
Influence on individuals, institutions, or communities
Alignment with the values and mission of the Christian Women Coalition

The selection process is designed to be both rigorous and reflective — ensuring that each honoree truly represents the spirit of legacy, excellence, and service.

Our communities are built by people whose names are not always written in headlines, but whose work is written into lives, families, and institutions.

The CWC Legacy Honors exist to ensure that those stories are seen, valued, and preserved.
